These may be job sites; on-line shopping sites, where you have shopped with your credit card, matrimonial sites, etc. As you surf the net, download files, open and close local files, the actions are stored in your hard drives. Manually deleting files, emptying the Internet cache, or deleting files, etc. is not very effective as there are tools that recover the deleted files.

Auto Erase/Manual Cleanup of Browser Settings

When you visit sites, the browser stores traceable information in certain folders and Directories. Others can view these. eScan 2003 allows you to remove all traces of sites you visit. The software auto detects different browsers installed and displays the traceable component and default path where the respective data is stored on your system. You can customize data for each browser.

The traceable component path that eScan 2003 removes includes Last Run Menu, Last Find Computer, Cache, PlugIns, Last Search Menu, Recent Documents, Open/Save Dialog box History, Cookies, History, Location Bar History, Empty Recycle Bin, Temporary Folder, ActiveX, Files & Folders. A schedule can be set that runs the tasks as per a schedule or the traces removed manually.
